Protected Places.

I am at present awaiting a report from the Services

with a view to determining which, if any, of the protected

places may be removed from the list.

This report should be

available by the middle of this month, and I hope to be able

to make a report to you by 31st July. I regret that this will

be about two weeks after the elapse of six months from the

(12) on '46-'47file receipt of your telegram No. 64, but every endeavour will be

made to report earlier if possible.
